Description:

We’re hiring an Industrial Painter to apply protective coatings to metal, concrete, and machinery — perfect for someone who’s safety-conscious, physically strong, and precise with tools and technique. You’ll work on apartments, houses, and commercial units during their final phase before handover to owners or tenants. You’ll apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment depending on the surface and project type. You’ll operate sprayers, rollers, or brushes to apply coatings according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. You’ll protect furniture, floors, and surrounding areas with tape, drop cloths, and plastic sheeting before each job begins. You’ll help mix paint to match specified colors and maintain consistency across large surfaces and multi-day projects. You’ll follow blueprints, facade diagrams, or site markings to know which surfaces and trims require coating. You’ll be trusted to work in expensive and delicate environments where protection and care are paramount. You’ll rotate between residential homes, offices, retail spaces, and renovation sites based on the project schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow blueprints or color schemes provided by clients, designers, or supervisors.
• Take direction well and also work independently when assigned solo tasks.
• Apply multiple coats as needed, allowing appropriate drying time between layers.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and applying primer when needed.
• Track paint usage, supply needs, and report low inventory to supervisors in a timely manner.

• Enjoys transforming spaces through color, texture, and attention to surface detail.
• Willing to work in occupied spaces respectfully, maintaining a clean and quiet work environment.
• Able to mix and match paint colors accurately and apply coatings based on specifications or client preferences.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Painter, Foreman, or Decorative Finishes Specialist.
• Can provide excellent results on both rough and fine-finish painting tasks.

You’ll help install signage, patch scuffs, and handle small touch-ups before final inspection or walkthrough. You’ll be trained in surface compatibility, environmental conditions, and specialty material handling. You’ll be expected to keep your work neat, tools clean, and supplies organized throughout each project. You’ll assist with quality checks, adhesion tests, and rework as needed based on inspection reports. You’ll be expected to follow lockout/tagout procedures and understand MSDS sheets for all materials used. You’ll work indoors most of the year, with occasional exterior finishing in good weather. Previous experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person who’s reliable, observant, and ready to work hard.
