Description:
We’re looking for a Fashion Designer who knows that real style lives beyond the runway — someone who understands fit, movement, and everyday confidence as much as visual identity. You’ll lead the design process for collections that challenge norms, explore form, and communicate meaning through silhouette and material. You’ll lead the design process from mood boards to tech packs, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative across each line. You’ll collaborate with product developers, sourcing managers, and garment technicians to ensure your designs balance beauty and practicality. You’ll work closely with pattern makers, seamstresses, and production teams to bring your sketches to life with precision. You’ll collaborate with fabric developers, pattern makers, and stylists to execute each piece with clarity and precision. You’ll oversee fittings, technical adjustments, and finish details that ensure garments are camera-ready and runway-worthy. You’ll guide design development from idea to production, making choices that are bold but buildable, stylish but real. We’ll rely on your taste, intuition, and awareness of form, drape, and silhouette in both sketch and sample.
Basic Qualifications:
- Communicate design choices clearly—why this cut, that fabric, or this button detail matters.
- Take ownership of your creative voice while being open to feedback from the team.
- Create mood boards, lookbooks, and technical drawings to communicate your ideas clearly to the team.
- Work closely with brand managers, stylists, and merchandisers to align designs with the brand’s identity.
- Ensure garments meet ethical and sustainable production standards where possible.
Preferred:
- Values originality, craftsmanship, and innovation in every design decision.
- Background or strong passion in fashion design, garment technology, or visual arts.
- Enjoys expressing culture, identity, and emotion through wearable art.
- Can sketch ideas both digitally and by hand to communicate creative direction.
- Comfortable presenting concepts to creative directors, buyers, or marketing teams.
