We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress Assistant who thrives on keeping websites clean, fast, and user-friendly. You’ve probably helped launch sites, fix bugs, update content, and troubleshoot the occasional plugin meltdown — all without breaking a sweat. You’ve likely worked with Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi, or WPBakery, and you understand how to build or edit pages without breaking anything. You’re comfortable using page builders like Elementor or WPBakery, and you know how to make things look good without overcomplicating the backend. You know what makes a site easy to use — smooth navigation, optimized images, clear headings — and you make sure everything is polished before it goes live. You understand the value of keeping plugins updated, themes organized, and the media library free of chaos.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist in creating landing pages or blog layouts that are responsive and match branding guidelines.
• Use staging environments to test updates or new features before applying them to production.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness across devices and screen sizes by testing and tweaking layouts.
• Stay proactive about flagging potential issues or suggesting UX improvements based on user behavior.
• Monitor site speed and help implement optimizations like lazy loading, minified assets, and caching strategies.

Preferred:

• Knows how to search documentation or community forums to solve common WordPress issues.
• Understands the importance of website security and regular updates.
• Experience working with clients or team members via Trello, Slack, or Google Docs.
• Pays attention to SEO basics using tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
• Able to install, activate, and configure simple plugins with guidance.
