Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly, our dishes spotless, and our team supported — perfect for someone who works quickly, stays organized, and takes pride in a clean station. You’ll be responsible for washing plates, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using both industrial machines and manual methods. You’ll rotate through dish machine operation, hand-washing, drying, and sorting clean items for restocking. You’ll wash plates, glasses, flatware, and serving equipment during and after events, keeping everything organized in real time. You’ll assist cooks and prep staff by keeping clean tools and containers available when needed. You’ll restock clean items to multiple kitchen and service stations across the hotel, often walking between floors or banquet spaces. You’ll follow safety and sanitation standards even in improvised or limited-space setups. You’ll monitor machine temps, refill soap and rinse aid, and shut down equipment safely before leaving. You’ll follow all hotel hygiene standards and help prepare for regular health inspections and internal audits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep calm during busy hours and help others when your area is under control.
• Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Be reliable and punctual—your role is essential to the kitchen’s flow and cleanliness.
• Restock soap, sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers in the dish area and bathrooms if required.
• Report broken equipment, clogged drains, or other issues to the kitchen supervisor immediately.

Preferred:

• Able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, or holidays based on kitchen needs.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or cafeteria setting as a dishwasher or kitchen helper.
• Wants to grow into roles like Prep Cook, Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor over time.
• Organized in sorting dishes, utensils, and kitchenware by type and material for efficient cleaning and drying.
• Understands the importance of teamwork and communication in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
