Description:

We’re looking for an Instagram Reels Editor who can take short-form content to the next level. You’ll be in charge of crafting Reels that not only stand out but keep people coming back for more. You’ll be responsible for filming, editing, and creating engaging Reels that capture attention in the first few seconds and keep it until the very end. You’ll be working with everything from raw footage to brand new ideas, transforming them into dynamic, fun, and shareable videos. Whether you're working with existing footage or creating fresh content, you’ll need to bring a creative twist to every video. The key to success here is speed and creativity — we need someone who can quickly turn around edits and make them feel fresh and authentic.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adjust editing style to fit various niches—from fashion to education to humor.
• Ensure every frame supports the message and keeps visual noise to a minimum.
• Coordinate posting schedules with the social team to hit peak engagement windows.
• Experiment with formats: voiceovers, behind-the-scenes, tutorial-style, quick edits, and more.
• Work with UGC and influencer-supplied footage, improving quality without losing authenticity.

Preferred:

• Knows how to use text overlays, captions, and effects to enhance viewer retention.
• Passionate about short-form video and social media storytelling.
• Comfortable working with raw footage and selecting the most engaging clips.
• Keeps a library of favorite Reels for inspiration and analysis.
• Strong eye for visual aesthetics, color grading, and composition.
