As our Reception Manager, you won’t just manage a desk — you’ll set the tone for the entire office experience. You’ll be the face of the company, greeting guests, clients, and team members with a welcoming smile and efficient support. Running the front desk isn’t just about answering phones — it’s about setting the tone for the entire space. You’ll manage a team of receptionists and ensure the front-of-house runs like a well-oiled machine. The way you handle chaos — calmly, gracefully, and without missing a beat — is what makes you stand out. When the unexpected happens — a no-show, a last-minute VIP guest, or a power outage — you’re already on Plan B. Training and mentoring reception staff will be a key part of your role — you lead by example. You’ll create protocols, improve systems, and train your team to uphold a standard that feels seamless and exceptional. You’ll handle escalations with poise, finding solutions quickly and keeping guests satisfied.
Basic Qualifications:
- Track and report on front desk metrics such as wait times, visitor volume, or issue resolution times to identify areas for improvement.
- Act as the first point of contact for building access, visitor badges, deliveries, and meeting room coordination.
- Handle scheduling, phone systems, emails, and walk-ins—resolving inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department.
- Stay current with best practices in reception management, visitor experience, and office operations.
- Monitor phone etiquette, dress code, and professionalism among front desk team members to uphold brand standards.
Preferred:
- Can manage front desk supply inventory and reorder materials as needed.
- Wants to grow into roles like Office Manager, Guest Experience Lead, or Operations Coordinator.
- Thrives in a people-facing, fast-paced environment where professionalism matters.
- Willing to assist in onboarding new hires by preparing welcome materials or office tours.
- Able to multitask under pressure and prioritize urgent requests during busy hours.
