Description:

We’re hiring a Truck Driver Trainee for intercity and long-distance routes — no experience needed, just a license, steady hands, and a head for the road. You may not have local experience yet, but if you have a valid license, responsibility, and a desire to grow — we’ll show you how to build a future on the road. We know many people want a fresh start, and that’s why our program is structured to build your skills step-by-step with real mentorship, not just theory. You’ll spend the first weeks in guided training: how to inspect a vehicle, read delivery paperwork, manage fuel, and plan smart routes. You’ll follow all traffic laws, weight limits, and safety protocols — no shortcuts, no exceptions. You’ll practice smart braking, smooth gear work, cornering with a loaded trailer, and staying mentally sharp over long hours behind the wheel. You’ll be taught how to talk with dispatch, stay organized, and solve problems calmly when schedules or weather don’t go your way. You’ll understand how to work with dispatch, navigate traffic delays, and still keep a cool, respectful tone on the radio. You’ll be expected to plan routes, adapt to detours, and handle delays with calm and common sense.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt to different types of vehicles (e.g., box trucks, flatbeds, reefers, tankers) based on job or cargo requirements.
• Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently over local, regional, or long-haul routes.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate pickups, inventory handling, and returns.
• Keep truck interiors clean and presentable—especially when interacting with customers during regular deliveries.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding arrival times, delays, or special delivery instructions.

Preferred:

• Physically fit and able to load, unload, or secure cargo when required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and logbook requirements.
• Familiar with using GPS devices, electronic logging devices (ELDs), or routing apps.
• Open to flexible work hours, night driving, weekends, or long-distance routes if required.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type (Class A, B, or C).
