Description:
We’re looking for a Video Editing Intern who wants to learn how long-form content like YouTube shows, interviews, and podcasts come together behind the scenes. ” You don’t need a full portfolio — just a good eye, a basic reel, and a serious drive to improve every week. You won’t be buried in theory — you’ll be editing real projects from week one, with guidance and feedback along the way. You’ll learn how to punch in on faces, cut out dead space, and stack visuals to keep the energy high. You’ll help manage video assets across multiple clients — naming files properly, keeping folders clean, and making re-edits painless. You’ll be given raw footage and a creative brief, and we’ll help you translate that into something engaging, clear, and on-brand. You’ll learn to color correct, mix audio, apply transitions (without overdoing it), and export for different platforms. You’ll help brainstorm angles, titles, first lines, and swipe-worthy thumbnails that boost engagement. You’ll be expected to revise quickly, handle feedback professionally, and ask questions when things feel unclear — we value clarity over guessing. You’ll help prep cutdowns, reformat edits for TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and understand how platform affects style and structure.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prepare multiple versions of a single video for different use cases—trailers, teasers, cutdowns, or language variants.
- Review footage critically—choosing the best takes and spotting visual or continuity issues before export.
- Receive and implement feedback from clients or creative leads professionally and efficiently.
- Adapt to different creative styles—from fast-paced social clips to cinematic reels or corporate explainers.
- Cut, trim, and arrange clips for clarity and flow—balancing pacing, storytelling, and brand voice across short- and long-form content.
Preferred:
- Able to color correct, stabilize footage, and adjust sound levels for a professional result.
- Experience editing short-form and long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or corporate presentations.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Organized with file management, version control, and naming conventions for projects.
Benefits:
- You’ll build a real portfolio of published, credited work — not ghost-edited drafts.
- Flexible hours — edit when you’re in flow, whether that’s 7am or 2am.
- You’ll help shape the voice and visual identity of our brand or clients — frame by frame.
- You’ll work with real footage, scripts, and creative direction — not just vague briefs.
- If you love storytelling through visuals, emotion through pacing, and clarity through composition — you’ll feel at home.
You’ll be editing with templates, but also encouraged to go freestyle when the concept calls for originality or experimentation. You’ll join internal reviews, listen to feedback on other editors’ work, and absorb what makes a cut engaging in the first 3 seconds. You’ll help monitor performance, take feedback fast, and keep learning what makes people stop scrolling. You’ll be part of brainstorms, suggest moments for highlights, and start noticing narrative arcs even in casual conversation. You’ll become faster, more organized, and more confident in your ability to take messy input and turn it into clean deliverables. You take pride in edits that “feel right,” even when no one can explain why — but you can. If you believe editing is where stories truly come alive — let’s build something powerful together. You’ll walk away with dozens of published clips and real proof that you can edit for attention, not just aesthetics. If you think in clips, hear beats in your head, and genuinely enjoy finding “the hook” — this internship was made for you.
