We’re searching for a Dental Assistant who understands that behind every smile is a person who deserves care and comfort. You’ll be the calming presence that helps patients feel at ease the moment they sit in the chair. Before the dentist even picks up an instrument, you’ve already set the tone with kindness and care. You’ll prepare treatment rooms, sterilize tools, and anticipate every need like a true professional. You’ll be the steady hand during procedures, offering instruments, suction, and a sense of calm when it’s needed most. You’ll monitor patient comfort, hand off instruments, and keep things flowing smoothly during every procedure. You’ll track procedures, update charts, and keep meticulous records that make follow-up smooth and accurate. You’ll be responsible for infection control and patient safety — and you take both seriously. You’ll explain things in plain language, because “occlusal composite” sounds way cooler as “tiny tooth repair.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene, procedure aftercare, or follow-up appointments.
• Stay updated with CPR certification, dental assistant training, and continuing education to maintain licensure and improve skills.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed, ensuring proper positioning, safety measures, and image clarity.
• Order and manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure all instruments are accounted for, labeled, and functional.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up trays, and ensuring all materials are ready for dental procedures.

Preferred:

• Can calmly manage situations involving anxious patients, children, or medical emergencies.
• Enjoys working closely with a dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care.
• Values cleanliness, reliability, and clear communication in healthcare settings.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced practice with multiple patients and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel at ease before and during treatment.
