Description:
We’re looking for a Flight Dispatcher who can think like a pilot, act like a strategist, and stay calm when everything is in motion. You won’t be in the cockpit, but you’ll be part of every takeoff, every course correction, every safe landing. Your role is equal parts strategist, communicator, and crisis-manager — and you balance them all with precision. You’ll plan every route like a story — with a beginning, a middle, and a safe ending. Each flight plan you build will be tailored for safety, fuel efficiency, and time — and then tested against reality in real-time. When conditions shift mid-air, you’ll be the calm voice guiding the crew through alternative routing and procedures. You’ll collaborate with pilots, ATC, ramp crews, and operations staff, creating a seamless flow of information and action. No shift is ever “quiet,” and that’s exactly how you like it — always alert, always thinking ahead. You’ll know every regulation by heart and apply them with accuracy and responsibility. You’ll keep impeccable records, not just for compliance — but because you believe in being accountable for every decision.
Basic Qualifications:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both flight crews and non-technical teams to align on updates and needs.
- Respond rapidly to emergency or irregular operations (IROPs), including delays, mechanical issues, diversions, or re-routing needs.
- Work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in 24/7 operations centers.
- Ensure timely coordination of special flights such as charter, medical evacuation, or cargo missions when scheduled.
- Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, ICAO) and internal airline safety standards.
Preferred:
- Able to calculate fuel requirements, alternate routes, and payload limitations accurately.
- Values precision, communication, and calm decision-making under pressure.
- Open to training on airline-specific tools, protocols, and communication systems.
- Willing to assist with delay management, crew coordination, and fleet status updates.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, or digital channels.
Benefits:
- You’ll be trained, supported, and valued — not just assigned flights and left alone.
- We celebrate quick thinking, accurate planning, and smooth reroutes under stress.
- Access to industry-grade dispatch systems (e.g. Lido, Sabre, Jeppesen), flight tracking tools, and weather monitoring platforms.
- We provide access to live systems, weather data, NOTAMs, flight plans, and training — but your judgment and calm under pressure are key.
- You’ll coordinate with pilots, air traffic control, and ground teams — and keep everyone in sync.
This role isn’t for the easily distracted — it’s for the focused, the composed, the ones who love the weight of responsibility. You’ll operate under pressure that’s invisible to most, but real to you — and you’ll thrive in it. Your communication will be fast, factual, and unshakably clear, even at 3 a. You’ll shift from planning calm summer routes to navigating through thunderstorms and rerouting across airspace restrictions — sometimes within minutes. during a storm. You’ll carry the weight of accountability — and the pride that comes from making sure every flight lifts off safely. If you’re passionate about aviation, think like an engineer, and react like a firefighter, this is where you belong — at the nerve center of every journey. This role isn’t glamorous — but for those who love aviation deeply, it’s as vital as the aircraft itself. If you think in maps, listen to the weather, and find peace in control — welcome to dispatch.
