Description:
We’re hiring a Flight Dispatcher — the one who charts the course, watches the skies, and keeps flights safe from the ground up. You’ll be the unseen force coordinating aircraft movements, weather conditions, and crew schedules with precision and speed. Each plan you prepare is a legal document and a safety commitment — and you treat it with the respect it deserves. You’ll plan every route like a story — with a beginning, a middle, and a safe ending. Every line on your screen represents lives, cargo, timelines — and you treat them with focus and responsibility. You’ll monitor en route progress, alert crews to hazards, and adjust plans in real-time when the unexpected happens. You’ll collaborate with pilots, ATC, ramp crews, and operations staff, creating a seamless flow of information and action. You’re not just reactive — you’re proactive, predicting delays, spotting risks, and making fast, informed decisions. You’ll stay calm under pressure, knowing that your job is to bring order and confidence when the skies grow unpredictable. You’ll be a reliable voice pilots trust — even at 3 a.
Basic Qualifications:
- Evaluate meteorological data including turbulence reports, wind speeds, icing conditions, and visibility to make safety-first operational decisions.
- Support recovery planning during irregular ops—finding alternate routings, adjusting connections, and minimizing disruption impact.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both flight crews and non-technical teams to align on updates and needs.
- Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, ICAO) and internal airline safety standards.
- Ensure timely coordination of special flights such as charter, medical evacuation, or cargo missions when scheduled.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of flight planning procedures, airspace restrictions, and weather interpretation.
- Able to calculate fuel requirements, alternate routes, and payload limitations accurately.
- Pays close attention to dispatch logs, weather briefings, and route clearances.
- Values precision, communication, and calm decision-making under pressure.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, or digital channels.
Benefits:
- And yes, you’ll always have the best stories about things that almost went wrong — but didn’t, because you were there.
- Daily rituals include shift handovers, weather briefs, and the occasional celebration when a reroute saves the day.
- You’ll have 24/7 access to support teams — you're never alone during a difficult call.
- Work in a high-responsibility role where your decisions help aircraft take off, land, and reroute safely.
- Shift-based schedule — day, night, and rotating coverage options to match your rhythm and operational needs.
You’re a master of systems, but never reliant on them — your instincts and training guide you first. , in tough weather, or across time zones. You’ll be part of the safety chain — the invisible link between planning and execution, logic and action. Every flight you touch becomes more than a plan — it becomes a promise of safe passage. Your communication skills will be crisp, clear, and direct — no room for confusion at 35,000 feet. You’ll embrace the pressure, knowing that your choices impact lives, timelines, and entire operations. You’ll stay calm in chaos, solve problems fast, and lead with confidence from the ground. This role isn’t glamorous — but for those who love aviation deeply, it’s as vital as the aircraft itself. Aviation is timing, teamwork, and trust — and as a Flight Dispatcher, you’ll be at the center of it all.
