Description:

We’re hiring a talented Video Editor to join our remote team and bring engaging, creative videos to life across multiple platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage, adding sound effects, music, and creating polished videos that align with our brand vision. You’ll work closely with the creative team to ensure the final product meets the vision and requirements of each project. You’ll be involved in all aspects of video production, including cutting, trimming, adding effects, sound design, and color correction. You’ll ensure that videos are engaging, well-paced, and visually appealing, adhering to brand guidelines and objectives. You’ll help incorporate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance the quality of the video and the viewer’s experience. You’ll help create motion graphics, animations, and special effects to add creativity and visual interest to the videos. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple video projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Make every frame count—editing is invisible when it’s great, and unforgettable when it’s brilliant.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for YouTube, social media, ads, and product explainers—aligned with brand tone and audience.
• Collaborate with content creators, marketers, or clients remotely to understand project goals and deliver on time.
• Source royalty-free music, sound effects, and stock footage where necessary (and legally).
• Edit short- and long-form content with equal skill, adapting storytelling for different formats and attention spans.

Preferred:

• Able to take initiative and suggest creative improvements to enhance video impact.
• Willing to stay updated on editing trends and content performance.
• Values clarity, emotion, and creativity in every frame.
• Familiar with cloud storage and collaboration tools like Google Drive, Frame.io, Dropbox, or Trello.
• Knows how to compress and export videos for optimal quality and speed.

You’ll monitor the performance of videos, providing insights and data to help refine future video strategies.
