We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to assist in a luxury nail salon — ideal for someone who values elegance, discretion, and delivering a flawless client experience. You’ll begin by learning how to pack and transport a compact manicure kit with everything needed for clean, effective service on the go. You’ll assist in setting up temporary stations in homes, offices, and events — ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and lighting. You’ll be trained to apply polish evenly, perform gentle hand massages, and build confidence in working with real clients. You’ll help apply breathable, chemical-free polishes with precision and a focus on nail health over harsh trends. You’ll learn how to execute popular styles like ombré, marble, French fade, chrome, or matte finishes. You’ll support polish removal, gentle exfoliation, and light massage services using travel-safe, skin-friendly products. You’ll support cleaning and sanitizing protocols using eco-safe, biodegradable products and reusable tools. You’ll assist in nail art preparation — mixing colors, organizing rhinestones, or creating sample designs with your mentor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay up to date on nail trends, techniques, and product innovations to offer modern services.
• Prepare and mix products like acrylic powder or gel builder accurately before application.
• Educate clients about proper nail health and hygiene when appropriate.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality service that makes clients feel confident and pampered.
• Use electric files, UV lamps, and other equipment properly and safely.

Preferred:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills to make clients feel welcome and at ease.
• Able to maintain detailed records of client preferences, allergies, and past services.
• Organized in managing client appointments, product inventory, and personal workstations.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a salon, spa, or beauty studio.
• Follows strict sanitization protocols using sterilizers, disinfectants, and disposable tools when necessary.
