Description:

We’re searching for a Dental Assistant who understands that behind every smile is a person who deserves care and comfort. You’ll be the friendly face that greets nervous patients and helps them feel safe before a single tool is picked up. You’ll prep rooms, set up trays, and anticipate the dentist’s needs like a well-rehearsed teammate. From taking X-rays to passing instruments mid-procedure, you’ll be right where you need to be, every time. You’ll be the steady hand during procedures, offering instruments, suction, and a sense of calm when it’s needed most. You know when to speak, when to listen, and when to reassure a nervous patient with just a look. You’ll help kids laugh, adults relax, and anxious visitors breathe a little easier. You’ll sanitize, stock, and straighten like someone who finds peace in order. Whether it’s a routine cleaning or a complex procedure, you’ll support the process with confidence and care.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene, procedure aftercare, or follow-up appointments.
• Provide support during emergency treatments or urgent walk-in appointments by preparing rapidly and keeping patients calm.
• Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and office staff as a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent care.
• Prepare materials for dental impressions, fillings, crowns, or sealants, ensuring proper consistency and usage.
• Assist in creating a safe, professional, and positive environment that patients feel comfortable returning to.

Preferred:

• Experience assisting dentists during procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
• Pays close attention to detail when assisting with procedures and documenting outcomes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced practice with multiple patients and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel at ease before and during treatment.
• Excited to support both clinical excellence and a positive patient experience.
