Description:
We’re seeking a Fashion Designer who doesn’t just follow trends — but defines them through vision, silhouette, and emotion. You’ll lead the design of ready-to-wear collections that are as thoughtful as they are wearable — built for real people, real bodies, and real lives. You’ll lead the design process from mood boards to tech packs, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative across each line. We expect you to take inspiration from culture, history, and modern life — and filter it into garments that speak with clarity and depth. You’ll be responsible for fabric research, color palette development, and finish selection that supports both sustainability and longevity. You’ll also work closely with the creative team to shape lookbooks, runway styling, and campaign aesthetics. Your process should balance innovation and discipline — knowing when to push and when to pare back. You’ll be involved in campaign art direction, lookbook styling, and show concepts to ensure the collection lives as a full experience. You’ll also consider cost, scale, and construction from the start — designing with both design integrity and commercial success in mind.
Basic Qualifications:
- Choose fabrics, colors, and textures that bring each concept to life with both style and practicality.
- Ensure garments meet ethical and sustainable production standards where possible.
- Attend trade shows, supplier meetings, or fabric markets to source materials and spark inspiration.
- Collaborate with patternmakers, seamstresses, and manufacturers to ensure designs are accurately produced.
- Work closely with brand managers, stylists, and merchandisers to align designs with the brand’s identity.
Preferred:
- Can adapt designs based on feedback, trend forecasts, or customer data insights.
- Able to support fashion shows, lookbooks, or e-commerce shoots with creative styling and coordination.
- Can sketch ideas both digitally and by hand to communicate creative direction.
- Understands how to balance artistic vision with budget constraints and target market demands.
- Open to experimenting with silhouettes, textiles, embellishments, and construction techniques.
