Description:

We’re hiring an Industrial Painter to apply protective coatings to metal, concrete, and machinery — perfect for someone who’s safety-conscious, physically strong, and precise with tools and technique. You’ll work on apartments, houses, and commercial units during their final phase before handover to owners or tenants. You’ll work on ladders, scaffolding, or suspended platforms, always following safety procedures for height and fall protection. You’ll prepare high-end surfaces by sanding, skimming, priming, and taping with exceptional attention to cleanliness and straight lines. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll work around electricians, tilers, and carpenters in active job sites where timing and teamwork are critical. You’ll mix pigments, glazes, and plasters to match color samples and blend seamlessly between areas. You’ll help mask windows, fixtures, signage, and landscaping before spray applications or splatter-prone techniques. You’ll rotate between prep work, base coats, touch-ups, and second-story detailing depending on the phase of the job.

Basic Qualifications:

• Track paint usage, supply needs, and report low inventory to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Inspect completed work for touch-ups or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed.
• Follow blueprints or color schemes provided by clients, designers, or supervisors.
• Operate lifts or extension poles for high-reach areas while maintaining balance and safety.
• Mix and match paints to achieve specific colors or finishes based on project requirements.

Preferred:

• Familiar with repairing drywall, filling holes, or caulking gaps prior to painting.
• Understands how to apply stains, sealants, or specialty finishes to wood, metal, or concrete surfaces.
• Experience painting residential, commercial, or industrial spaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and exteriors.
• Can provide excellent results on both rough and fine-finish painting tasks.
• Open to seasonal or weather-dependent work including exterior painting and surface prep.

You’ll be trained in proper PPE use, respirator care, and handling of solvents and exterior-grade materials. You’ll help clean brushes, rollers, trays, and workspaces at the end of each shift, leaving the site tidy and professional. You’ll be expected to keep your work neat, tools clean, and supplies organized throughout each project. You’ll assist with quality checks, adhesion tests, and rework as needed based on inspection reports. You’ll work both solo and in small artisan teams, depending on the size and complexity of the job. You’ll work indoors or outdoors in all seasons depending on the assignment and surface conditions. Experience in decorative or traditional painting is a plus, but we’ll train creative, careful candidates with a passion for interior beauty.
