Description:

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Assistant to support our team in creating and executing effective email campaigns. You’ll be responsible for drafting and editing email copy, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the audience. You’ll assist in creating visually appealing email templates and optimize them for different devices and email clients. You’ll assist with building and segmenting email lists to target the right audience with personalized content. You’ll help optimize email content for mobile devices, ensuring emails are responsive and user-friendly. You’ll track email campaign performance, analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve future campaigns. You’ll collaborate with the design team to ensure email templates are mobile-friendly and visually consistent across devices. You’ll work with email marketing tools and automation systems to set up and maintain automated email workflows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Write or edit subject lines, preview text, and email copy that matches brand tone and drives opens and clicks.
• Support lead generation efforts by integrating forms and pop-ups across websites or landing pages.
• Balance speed with accuracy—emails move fast, but every click depends on getting it right.
• Document and maintain SOPs for recurring email tasks, templates, and tagging conventions.
• Ensure proper formatting, grammar, and link functionality before scheduling any emails—mistakes happen, but not on your watch.

Preferred:

• Basic understanding of email marketing principles, including audience segmentation and A/B testing.
• Organized with content calendars, deadlines, and task tracking across multiple campaigns.
• Pays attention to layout, mobile responsiveness, and email design consistency.
• Open to learning how to build drip campaigns and behavior-based automations.
• Open to researching competitors' email strategies for inspiration and benchmarking.

You’ll help manage email automation systems and workflows to nurture leads and engage customers at various touchpoints. You’ll maintain a content calendar, ensuring that all email campaigns are scheduled, optimized, and launched on time. You’ll provide insights on how to improve email marketing performance based on analytics and feedback from recipients.
