Description:
We’re hiring a Waiter/Waitress who wants more than just a job — someone who values flexibility, team spirit, and the chance to make people’s day through great service. You’ll greet each guest with authenticity, creating a relaxed and respectful atmosphere from the start. You’ll start by shadowing experienced staff and slowly take on more tables as your confidence grows. You’ll learn the menu, including ingredients and common allergens, so you can answer questions and offer helpful suggestions. You’ll help guests navigate the menu, suggest options, and handle special requests with attention and care. You’ll handle rushes, large parties, and unexpected challenges with calm and professionalism. You’ll help clear tables, reset them quickly, and keep the dining area looking clean and inviting. You’ll keep your section tidy, your notepad ready, and your pace steady no matter how busy it gets. You’ll work closely with hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to keep service running smoothly.
Basic Qualifications:
- Stay familiar with the full menu—including drinks, desserts, and seasonal items—to provide great recommendations.
- Keep your section clean and organized, resetting tables promptly for the next guests.
- Greet guests with a warm smile and guide them to their table, making them feel welcome right away.
- Stay on top of timing—know when to fire the next course or close out a table.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
Preferred:
- Experience working in restaurants, cafes, or hospitality environments with high guest interaction.
- Willing to assist with opening or closing duties such as setup, cleaning, or inventory checks.
- Willing to learn menu changes, daily specials, and promotional offerings quickly.
- Understands hygiene standards and safe food handling procedures.
- Team-oriented and ready to support other servers, hosts, or bussers during busy periods.
Benefits:
- Weekly check-ins — so feedback doesn’t come out of nowhere.
- At the end of the shift, you’ll feel proud, appreciated, and probably craving fries.
- Good tips, guaranteed — because great service *should* pay off.
- Team that has your back — we run food, refill waters, and cover tables together.
- We laugh a lot — even during rushes.
You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, try new tasks, and grow into your role at your own pace. You’ll receive feedback, encouragement, and tips for improving your service skills every day. You’ll take part in a healthy, honest work culture where feedback is welcome and your voice matters. You’ll also be encouraged to share ideas that improve workflow, guest experience, or team morale. We value punctuality, teamwork, and a sense of humor — especially during the dinner rush. You’ll never be expected to know everything on day one — just to be open, respectful, and ready to learn. If you’re looking for a friendly place to start your hospitality career, we’d love to train you and see you grow. If you believe hospitality is about heart, not just hustle — we’d love for you to join our dining room. Let’s serve something meaningful every shift — not just meals, but comfort, care, and connection.
