Description:

We’re hiring a Factory Operator to support our food production line — perfect for someone who’s attentive, quick on their feet, and committed to quality and cleanliness. You’ll work in one of three shifts — morning, evening, or night — depending on the production schedule and staffing needs. You’ll operate machinery that processes raw materials, assembles parts, or packages finished products with accuracy and speed. You’ll be responsible for starting, stopping, and cleaning machines during product changes or shift transitions. You’ll follow strict hygiene protocols — washing hands regularly, wearing PPE, and avoiding contamination at all times. You’ll log data such as quantities produced, materials used, and any downtimes or mechanical concerns during your shift. You’ll record production data, downtime, and any irregularities in digital or paper logs according to company policy. You’ll rotate between production, inspection, and packing stations depending on line needs and staffing. You’ll coordinate with maintenance staff to report mechanical issues and assist in minor troubleshooting or resets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or inconsistencies in product quality.
• Adjust machine settings based on material type, speed, or product specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, free of safety hazards and unnecessary clutter.
• Follow start-up and shutdown procedures for assigned machines at beginning and end of shift.
• Report accidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions immediately for corrective action.

Preferred:

• Open to learning how to operate new machines, follow new product specs, or apply lean manufacturing principles.
• Willing to cross-train on different machines or departments to support flexible production needs.
• Familiar with operating, monitoring, and adjusting machinery to maintain consistent production output.
• Team-oriented and capable of communicating clearly with supervisors and coworkers during handovers.
• Understands the importance of minimizing downtime, waste, and safety risks on the factory floor.

You’ll assist with quick changeovers for different product runs, cleaning parts and inputting new specs where required. You’ll contribute to lean manufacturing efforts by identifying inefficiencies and participating in kaizen or 5S programs. You’ll rotate between different machines or departments depending on production needs and shift coverage. You’ll attend regular safety briefings, team huddles, and training updates to stay aligned with operational standards. You’ll work alongside a close-knit team where timing, trust, and routine matter — especially overnight. You’ll attend safety and food-handling briefings regularly to stay compliant with regulations. Prior factory experience is a plus, but attitude and dependability matter more than background.
