Description:

We’re hiring a Clinical Psychologist Trainee who’s ready to explore the therapeutic process from the inside — no previous experience required, just empathy, professionalism, and a deep interest in mental health. You’ll assist with preparing client records, anonymizing data, and reviewing session outlines under supervision. We’ll teach you how to observe therapeutic sessions with clinical intent — noting not just what’s said, but how it’s said. You’ll learn how to document progress, track behavioral patterns, and participate in debriefs with licensed psychologists. Expect to learn how to build therapeutic rapport, maintain confidentiality, and support clients through vulnerable conversations. We’ll walk you through how psychologists conduct assessments, build treatment plans, and set therapeutic goals. You’ll support the preparation of worksheets, feedback forms, and emotional regulation exercises used in sessions. You’ll observe how nonverbal cues, silence, and tone shape the therapeutic dynamic. You’ll gain awareness of how culture, background, and environment affect client experiences and therapeutic rapport.

Basic Qualifications:

• Recognize when to refer patients to higher levels of care or specialized services.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions in a safe, confidential setting.
• Use techniques such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or psychodynamic therapy depending on the client’s needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff to ensure holistic care.

Preferred:

• Understands legal responsibilities including informed consent, mandatory reporting, and HIPAA compliance.
• Familiar with maintaining clinical notes, treatment plans, and outcome tracking in accordance with ethical standards.
• Wants to grow into roles like Clinical Supervisor, Program Director, or Research Psychologist.
• Can maintain accurate records for case reviews, insurance compliance, or research purposes.
• Licensed or certified clinical psychologist with a graduate degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
