Description:
We’re looking for a Pharmacist who understands that every pill, every dose, and every conversation can make a real difference. You’ll be the one behind the counter who doesn’t just fill prescriptions — you explain them like a trusted advisor. Your role isn’t just about medication — it’s about reassurance, safety, and clarity at a time when people need it most. You’ll check dosages, flag interactions, and ask the tough questions others might miss. You’ll collaborate with doctors, nurses, and caregivers — forming a bridge between treatment plans and real-life use. You’ll keep workflows tight, systems clean, and inventory in check without breaking a sweat. You know how to lead a team, support your techs, and keep the day moving — even when it’s a Monday and the line is 12 deep. You’re the type to double-check a pediatric dose and call a doctor if something feels off — and we love you for it. You’ll support your technicians, train interns, and help create a team culture grounded in professionalism and respect.
Basic Qualifications:
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement of pharmacy processes.
- Administer vaccinations, such as flu or COVID-19, in accordance with licensing and state-level authorization where applicable.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and secure work environment—adhering to infection control and safety policies.
- Report and document adverse drug reactions or medication errors according to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Balance operational efficiency with compassionate care—making sure patients feel supported, not rushed.
Preferred:
- Familiar with pharmacy management systems like PioneerRx, McKesson, or QS/1.
- Familiar with over-the-counter (OTC) recommendations and guiding customer choices appropriately.
- Skilled in managing pharmacy technicians and maintaining workflow efficiency.
- Knowledgeable about insurance processes, billing codes, and prior authorizations.
- Thorough understanding of drug interactions, contraindications, and proper dosage protocols.
Benefits:
- You’ll counsel patients, collaborate with physicians, and ensure best practices in every dose.
- We handle high volume with structure and support — you won’t be alone behind the counter.
- We recognize your emotional labor and intellectual load — and we compensate accordingly.
- Opportunities to grow into pharmacy manager, clinical pharmacist, or educator roles.
- You’ll be treated as a medical professional, not just a “pill counter.”
You’ll stay curious, updating your knowledge so your advice is always grounded in the latest science. You’ll use your voice to advocate for patients — whether it’s clarifying a dosage or helping with an insurance barrier. You’ll turn questions like “Can I take this with food? You’ll counsel on more than just pills — from lifestyle choices to vaccine education to OTC guidance. You’ll be organized, alert, and reliable — the kind of person people come to when they need answers fast. You’ll help deliver not just prescriptions, but trust, support, and guidance to everyone who walks through the door. You won’t just dispense medicine — you’ll dispense peace of mind. You’ll be part of something bigger — a system that depends on people like you to keep it safe and human. If you believe that a great pharmacist is part clinician, part counselor, and part quiet hero — we want you on our team.
