Description:

We’re hiring an Architect Trainee who’s ready to learn how ideas become blueprints and blueprints become buildings — no experience needed, just a strong eye for design and willingness to grow. You’ll assist our team in the early stages of design development, including site analysis, concept sketches, and schematic layouts. We’ll show you how to take abstract ideas and turn them into site-responsive, functional design proposals. You’ll work closely with senior architects to understand how every line on a plan has meaning, function, and consequence. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. You’ll learn how to analyze site constraints, zoning codes, and client needs to inform better design decisions. We’ll show you how to balance client expectations with regulatory standards and design integrity. You’ll explore how light, form, and circulation impact human experience within the built environment. You’ll also sit in on client consultations to understand how architects balance vision, budget, and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Take pride in shaping the spaces people live, work, and dream in.
• Visualize spaces from a user’s perspective—flow, light, acoustics, and accessibility all matter.
• Balance innovation with constraints like cost, space, and environmental impact.
• Review shop drawings and RFIs during construction to maintain design fidelity.
• Present concepts to stakeholders with clarity, whether it’s a sketch or a full 3D walkthrough.

Preferred:

• Capable of conducting site visits, taking measurements, and collaborating with engineers and contractors.
• Able to manage multiple design iterations and communicate rationale for each decision.

• Understands how to balance aesthetics, functionality, and client requirements within budget constraints.
