Description:
We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who’s equal parts compassionate caregiver and clinical rockstar. You’ll be the friendly face that greets nervous patients and helps them feel safe before a single tool is picked up. You’ll assist during procedures with sharp attention and smooth timing — no need to be told twice. From taking X-rays to passing instruments mid-procedure, you’ll be right where you need to be, every time. You’ll assist with X-rays, impressions, suction, and everything in between — always one step ahead. You know when to speak, when to listen, and when to reassure a nervous patient with just a look. Your attention to detail means no tool is out of place and no note is missed in the chart. You’ll be responsible for infection control and patient safety — and you take both seriously. You’ll update charts, track inventory, and ensure every detail is in place behind the scenes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and office staff as a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent care.
- Ultimately, help deliver smooth, efficient, and caring dental visits that build trust and promote long-term oral health.
- Support oral surgeries or specialty treatments (e.g., orthodontics, endodontics) as needed based on clinic services.
- Take intraoral photos and assist in digital scanning when required for treatment planning or case documentation.
- Help maintain dental equipment such as autoclaves, suction systems, curing lights, and chairs—reporting malfunctions promptly.
Preferred:
- Understands how to assist with impressions, temporary crowns, and basic lab work.
- Willing to assist with inventory tracking, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance.
- Thrives in a team-oriented environment focused on quality care and organization.
- Can manage front desk duties when needed, including scheduling, billing, and verifying insurance.
- Comfortable explaining post-treatment care to patients in a calm and supportive manner.
Benefits:
- Opportunities to grow into lead assistant, office manager, dental hygiene, or even clinical educator roles.
- You’ll be trained, trusted, and thanked — not overlooked.
- Access to modern equipment, digital records, and the tools you need to do your best work — no outdated gear here.
- Your consistency and prep help reduce patient anxiety and improve care outcomes.
- We support your learning — CE courses, certifications, and updated procedures covered by the clinic.
You’ll monitor supplies and reorder before anyone needs to ask — because you think two steps ahead. You’ll answer patient questions, offer post-procedure guidance, and make sure they leave feeling supported. You’re someone who knows that healthcare is human work, and dentistry is no exception. You’ll show up with consistency, attention, and quiet excellence, day after day. You’ll be part of a team that celebrates progress, big or small — from healing gums to growing confidence. You believe that good vibes, steady hands, and clean gloves can solve almost anything. You’ll be a valued member of a healthcare team that depends on your reliability and positivity. If you love helping people feel better — not just physically, but emotionally too — we’d love to meet you.
