Description:

We’re looking for a Film Director who knows how to turn a vision into a visceral experience — someone who leads with intent, collaborates with empathy, and crafts stories that resonate on screen and beyond. You’ll lead the creative process from script to screen, shaping tone, visual language, and emotional rhythm throughout production. You’ll work closely with screenwriters, producers, and cinematographers to ensure narrative, pacing, and style are aligned from day one. You’ll direct casting, lead rehearsals, and bring out layered performances that feel honest, surprising, and fully human. You’ll collaborate closely with DPs, editors, designers, and producers to ensure your vision stays consistent at every level of production. We’re looking for a director who brings their own cinematic language — whether poetic, grounded, stylized, or experimental. You’ll be deeply involved in pre-production, including shot lists, mood boards, color palettes, and visual research. On set, you’ll lead with clarity and calm, navigating the realities of tight schedules without compromising creative intent. On set, you’ll maintain momentum, focus, and morale while ensuring artistic integrity is never compromised.

Basic Qualifications:

• Watch daily footage (dailies) to catch issues early and ensure continuity.
• Supervise post-production by working closely with editors, sound designers, VFX artists, and colorists.
• Work under pressure while juggling multiple creative, technical, and interpersonal demands.
• Handle conflicts on set diplomatically and keep the project moving forward.
• Maintain a clear vision while staying flexible enough to adapt to unexpected moments of brilliance.

Preferred:

• Background or strong passion in filmmaking, directing, screenwriting, or visual arts.
• Comfortable leading a production crew, coordinating with cinematographers, production designers, and actors.
• Able to create a positive set culture that supports collaboration, diversity, and professionalism.
• Understands how to manage tone, continuity, and visual coherence across a full-length or episodic production.
• Passionate about crafting visually striking scenes that serve narrative and character arcs.
