Description:

We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who can pass suction like a ninja, sterilize instruments with style, and make patients feel like VIPs. You’ll prep treatment rooms with care, ensuring everything is spotless, stocked, and ready before the first patient arrives. From preparing treatment rooms to handing instruments during procedures, you’ll be an extra set of skilled hands for the dentist. You’ll prepare treatment rooms, sterilize tools, and anticipate every need like a true professional. You’ll assist with X-rays, impressions, suction, and everything in between — always one step ahead. You’ll help patients feel relaxed, even if they “hate the dentist” — challenge accepted. You’ll manage tools, charts, and schedules like a multitasking wizard in scrubs. You’ll sanitize equipment like it’s second nature — because it is. You’ll help patients understand what just happened and what comes next, turning medical language into something human.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist in creating a safe, professional, and positive environment that patients feel comfortable returning to.
• Order and manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure all instruments are accounted for, labeled, and functional.
• Provide compassionate reassurance to nervous patients, especially children or first-time visitors.
• Provide support during emergency treatments or urgent walk-in appointments by preparing rapidly and keeping patients calm.
• Ensure all HIPAA and patient privacy guidelines are followed when handling records or discussing treatment.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Office Manager.
• Maintains professionalism and compassion with every patient interaction.
• Enjoys working closely with a dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care.
• Able to prepare and organize dental instruments, trays, and materials before each appointment.
• Can calmly manage situations involving anxious patients, children, or medical emergencies.
