Description:

We’re looking for a Manual QA Tester who believes that real quality isn’t just about finding bugs — it’s about protecting the user experience from confusion, frustration, or failure. You’ll play a key role in testing features from the ground up, making sure every flow works the way it should — across all devices, browsers, and edge cases. You’ll execute test cases, perform exploratory testing, and identify layout issues, crashes, or broken flows. You’ll execute test cases, provide feedback on usability, and report bugs with clear, step-by-step instructions. ” You’ll write clear, reproducible bug reports and maintain accurate test logs to support ongoing development. You’ll help test in different environments, screen sizes, browsers, and devices to ensure coverage across platforms. You’ll verify fixes in new builds, test in staging environments, and run regression checks before releases go live. We’ll teach you how to prioritize severity, escalate issues effectively, and balance speed with thoroughness. You’ll test across multiple builds, log environments, and work within sprint cycles to deliver fast, stable releases. We expect you to be methodical, patient, and persistent — especially when reproducing tricky bugs that only happen “sometimes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Report blockers and critical issues quickly—your alert can prevent a broken release.
• Re-test failed scenarios and edge cases after every deployment or release.
• Keep notes on known issues, tricky flows, or feature quirks for the team’s collective memory.
• Follow test cases step by step—and go beyond them when your instincts say 'something feels off'.
• Help write and maintain test cases and test plans as features evolve.

Preferred:

• Comfortable identifying regressions, broken flows, or edge cases in early and late stages of development.
• Understands the software development lifecycle and the role of QA in agile or waterfall environments.
• Knows how to perform smoke tests, sanity tests, regression tests, and UAT where needed.
• Experience performing manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications across different platforms and browsers.
• Capable of verifying bug fixes and validating acceptance criteria for user stories.
