Description:

We’re looking for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who thrives on helping people feel prepared, welcomed, and valued from day one. You’ll own the full onboarding experience, making sure each new team member feels welcome, supported, and ready to succeed. You’ll guide new hires through their first weeks, ensuring they never feel lost, ignored, or overwhelmed. You’ll coordinate training schedules, send out access credentials, and make sure no one’s stuck waiting on IT. You’ll schedule kickoff calls, coordinate orientation materials, and keep everyone in the loop (without overwhelming them). Your day might start with setting up accounts and end with hosting a virtual coffee chat. We love proactive communicators who follow up, follow through, and care about people as much as process. You’ll partner with different departments to align onboarding with real-world workflows and expectations. We’re a remote team, so your ability to make virtual feel personal will set the tone for every new hire.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be the go-to point of contact for any questions new team members have about tools, policies, or company culture.
• Participate in weekly syncs with HR or People Ops to align on process improvements and onboarding insights.
• Host virtual orientation sessions to walk new hires through company values, tools, communication norms, and key contacts.
• Identify roadblocks or bottlenecks in the onboarding flow and work with relevant teams to fix them.
• Make the onboarding process feel human and welcoming, even through a screen—people remember how you made them feel.

Preferred:

• Has a warm, supportive tone that makes new hires feel valued and prepared.
• Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating asynchronously.
• Able to explain procedures, tools, and company culture in a clear, welcoming way.
• Excited to welcome new teammates and ensure they start off confident and connected.
• Wants to grow into roles like HR Generalist, Employee Experience Manager, or People Ops.
