We’re searching for a Public Relations Trainee who’s ready to learn how to shape narratives, manage brand voice, and build trust through communication — no experience needed, just strong writing instincts and curiosity about media. You’ll help shape how the world sees a brand by assisting in crafting press releases, pitches, and strategic messaging. We’ll train you to spot newsworthy angles, monitor media trends, and time your stories for maximum impact. You’ll help pitch stories to media outlets and learn how to tailor your message for different platforms and audiences. Expect to participate in real campaigns, from product launches to reputation management efforts. You’ll learn how to write for voice, not just grammar — mastering how tone changes depending on the outlet or platform. We’ll show you how to handle both positive PR and sensitive communication moments with professionalism and care. You’ll assist in competitive research to see how others communicate, and what makes stories resonate. You’ll join content reviews and get hands-on experience editing statements for tone, length, and impact.

Basic Qualifications:

• Track ROI of earned media and share insights with leadership in digestible reports.
• Collaborate with marketing, social, and leadership teams to align messaging across all channels.
• Turn complex company updates into human, headline-worthy stories.
• Coach team members on how to speak to the press or handle interviews.
• Support events like trade shows, conferences, or charity initiatives with comms planning and on-site PR.

Preferred:

• Enjoys building relationships, amplifying voices, and creating positive public perception.
• Organized in managing editorial calendars, campaign timelines, and approval workflows.
• Wants to grow into roles like PR Manager, Communications Director, or Brand Strategist.
• Experience drafting press releases, media pitches, speeches, or internal communication memos.
• Familiar with building and maintaining media contact lists and outreach strategies.
