Description:

We’re seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our dynamic team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll be responsible for executing manual tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with developers to resolve them. You’ll assist in creating detailed test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of new features and existing functionality. You’ll work closely with the development team to track bugs and verify their resolution, ensuring continuous improvement. You’ll perform manual testing, focusing on functionality, usability, and compatibility, ensuring the software delivers a flawless user experience. You’ll track defects using bug tracking tools, maintaining accurate records of identified issues and their resolutions. You’ll collaborate with product teams to understand the requirements and provide input on testing strategies. You’ll contribute to automating testing workflows, ensuring testing is efficient and scalable as the product evolves.

Basic Qualifications:

• Track test coverage and work with the QA team to prioritize areas of high risk or frequent failure.
• Learn how to test for accessibility, performance, and mobile behavior—QA goes beyond "does it work?"
• Follow test plans and checklists, but also think critically and explore edge cases that automated tools might miss.
• Participate in standups or sprint reviews, raising red flags early if something doesn’t look or feel right.
• Retest fixed bugs and verify they no longer occur—closing the feedback loop with clarity.

Preferred:

• Enjoys breaking things in a structured way to improve product stability.
• Open to writing documentation or contributing to QA process improvements.
• Organized in tracking test results, reporting progress, and managing deadlines.
• Willing to learn about test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Pays close attention to details and enjoys finding inconsistencies or edge cases.
