Description:

We’re hiring a talented and creative Video Editor to join our remote team and produce high-impact videos for various platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing video footage, adding effects, and creating final videos that capture the brand’s message and tone. You’ll work closely with the creative team to ensure the final product meets the vision and requirements of each project. You’ll be involved in all aspects of video production, including cutting, trimming, adding effects, sound design, and color correction. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to develop videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns. You’ll help create video content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, optimizing each video for the platform’s audience. You’ll help create motion graphics, animations, and special effects to add creativity and visual interest to the videos. You’ll use video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro to deliver high-quality results.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt your editing style to suit different clients—clean and corporate vs. bold and Gen Z, depending on the brief.
• Optimize file size and quality for different platforms and delivery methods without sacrificing fidelity.
• Create intro/outro animations, lower thirds, or branded overlays that reinforce visual identity without overwhelming the viewer.
• Color-correct, audio-balance, and export videos in platform-specific formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).
• Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality, speed, and creative energy.

Preferred:

• Knows how to compress and export videos for optimal quality and speed.
• Excited to grow into roles like Senior Video Editor, Content Producer, or Creative Lead.
• Comfortable working with vertical and horizontal formats across multiple platforms.
• Understands pacing, storytelling, and transitions to keep viewers engaged.
• Able to work with various footage formats, frame sizes, and aspect ratios.

You’ll manage and organize video files, ensuring they are properly stored, labeled, and easy to access for the team. You’ll assist with creating and managing video libraries, organizing assets for easy access by the team.
