Description:

We’re hiring a Painter to join our finishing crew on new construction and renovation projects — perfect for someone who’s precise, deadline-driven, and understands the importance of a flawless final impression. You’ll prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, and priming to ensure smooth, long-lasting coverage. You’ll prepare walls, ceilings, and trim by patching, sanding, priming, and smoothing surfaces after drywall installation or repairs. You’ll apply coats of paint with clean lines and consistent texture using rollers, brushes, and airless sprayers. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll apply coatings with brushes, trowels, sponges, and specialty tools to create layered depth and texture. You’ll follow blueprints, facade diagrams, or site markings to know which surfaces and trims require coating. You’ll assist in mixing multi-part coatings, monitoring cure times, and ensuring environmental conditions are optimal. You’ll rotate between base coats, trim work, ceilings, and accent walls depending on the room and material needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow environmental disposal guidelines for paint, solvents, and other materials.
• Work on both interior and exterior painting projects across residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
• Handle weather-related challenges on outdoor jobs, including surface prep and dry times.
• Protect adjacent surfaces with drop cloths, tape, and coverings before painting begins.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, or coatings to walls, ceilings, furniture, and exterior surfaces.

Preferred:

• Experience painting residential, commercial, or industrial spaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and exteriors.
• Background or interest in construction, property maintenance, or decorative finishes.
• Values craftsmanship, consistency, and visual quality in every project.
• Understands how to apply stains, sealants, or specialty finishes to wood, metal, or concrete surfaces.
• Knowledge of different paint types (latex, oil-based, epoxy, etc.) and appropriate use for interior or exterior conditions.

You’ll rotate between high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial design projects across the city or region. You’ll assist with transporting paint, ladders, tape, and drop cloths from site to site using company vehicles or your own. You’ll work in hot, cold, windy, or humid conditions while maintaining a steady pace and clean technique. You’ll be expected to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and clean lines. You’ll collaborate with contractors, foremen, or restoration specialists during large multi-trade renovation projects. You’ll work indoors most of the year, with occasional exterior finishing in good weather. No experience is required — just good hand control, physical stamina, and an eye for quality.
