We’re looking for a Freelance Resume Writer who can listen, interpret, and transform a client’s experience into job-winning language. You’ll craft resumes that not only list responsibilities but tell compelling, achievement-focused stories. You believe every client has a story worth telling, and you know how to shape that into clean, confident bullet points. Your job is to highlight what matters, cut what doesn’t, and structure everything for impact and clarity. Your words will help clients unlock new roles, higher pay, and better confidence — and that’s powerful. Your day might start with a senior executive’s CV and end with a student’s first resume — and you can handle both with ease. You’ll help clients overcome self-doubt and learn how to see their own experience as valuable. You understand that a great resume is part psychology, part storytelling, and part formatting wizardry. If you’ve ever reworked someone’s resume just because you couldn’t stand to see them undersell themselves — this is your calling.

Basic Qualifications:

• Above all, help people feel confident in how they present themselves—your words help them land opportunities.
• Write clear, concise, and achievement-focused resumes tailored to the client’s industry, role, and level of experience.
• Create templates or process docs to streamline intake, drafts, and delivery as your workload grows.
• Translate technical or complex experience into plain, compelling language that resonates with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Respond quickly and professionally to client inquiries, edits, or follow-ups—even if the project’s complete.

Preferred:

• Comfortable writing LinkedIn summaries or cover letters as part of the service.
• Wants to help people tell their career story in a strategic and confident way.
• Can handle multiple projects and revisions while meeting deadlines.
• Experience creating or refining resumes across various industries and job levels.
• Experience formatting resumes for both creative and corporate industries.

You’ll be expected to deliver polished documents with minimal grammar or formatting errors. Timely delivery, clean formatting, and clear communication are second nature to you.
