Description:

We’re looking for an HR Specialist (Recruiter) Trainee who’s ready to dive into the fast-paced world of hiring — no experience required, just energy, people skills, and a desire to build great teams. You’ll assist in managing job boards, reviewing candidate profiles, and organizing interview logistics across multiple roles. We’ll teach you how to navigate the full recruitment cycle — from sourcing to interview to offer. We’ll show you how to screen candidates fairly, ask smart questions, and understand what makes a great hire. Expect to sit in on interviews, observe different interview styles, and take notes to support hiring decisions. You’ll learn how to build strong candidate relationships and represent the company’s culture with authenticity. You’ll get familiar with recruiting tools and HR systems used to scale hiring across departments. Expect to support internal hiring reports, keep databases organized, and track key recruiting metrics like time-to-hire. We’ll guide you through creating great candidate experiences, even when you’re sending a rejection.

Basic Qualifications:

• Build talent pipelines for frequently hired or hard-to-fill roles in advance.
• Partner with HR teammates on employer branding, career fairs, or outreach campaigns.
• Conduct initial interviews and guide candidates through the pipeline with professionalism and empathy.
• Help onboard new hires by coordinating documentation, orientation, and first-week schedules.
• Keep candidates informed, supported, and engaged throughout the hiring journey.

Preferred:

• Familiar with employment laws, EEOC guidelines, and best practices in fair hiring.
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive candidate or employee information.
• Comfortable providing hiring insights, market feedback, or compensation benchmarks to stakeholders.
• Understands how to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future needs.
• Can collaborate with department heads to refine hiring profiles or revise sourcing strategies.
