Description:

We’re hiring a Financial Analyst Trainee to help us understand the story behind the numbers — no experience required, just strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and a willingness to grow. You’ll assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing trends, and tracking key performance indicators across departments. We’ll show you how to create dashboards and summary reports that simplify complex financial insights. You’ll also learn how to document assumptions, keep models organized, and spot red flags in raw financial reports.

Basic Qualifications:

• Build financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability across different scenarios.
• Identify red flags early by reviewing cash flow, burn rate, or debt ratios regularly.
• Maintain a curious mindset—ask why numbers changed, not just what changed.
• Translate numbers into insights—your job is more than spreadsheets, it’s storytelling with data.
• Break down complex data into digestible formats for non-finance teams.

Preferred:

• Familiar with financial regulations, compliance reporting, and audit preparation workflows.
• Can support due diligence, risk analysis, and market research for strategic planning.
• Values accuracy, critical thinking, and clarity in financial decision-making processes.
• Willing to research industry benchmarks, competitor data, and macroeconomic trends.
• Open to working with SQL, Python, or Excel macros to automate and streamline financial tasks.
