Description:

We’re hiring an Exterior Painter to work on building facades, balconies, fences, and high walls — ideal for someone who’s not afraid of heights, works well outdoors, and values lasting protection and curb appeal. You’ll prep and paint exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers depending on the material and access method. You’ll prepare walls, ceilings, and trim by patching, sanding, priming, and smoothing surfaces after drywall installation or repairs. You’ll apply coats of paint with clean lines and consistent texture using rollers, brushes, and airless sprayers. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll work around electricians, tilers, and carpenters in active job sites where timing and teamwork are critical. You’ll perform touch-ups, re-coats, and spot repairs for scratches, dents, or uneven surfaces after inspection. You’ll assist in mixing multi-part coatings, monitoring cure times, and ensuring environmental conditions are optimal. You’ll rotate between base coats, trim work, ceilings, and accent walls depending on the room and material needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow safety protocols when working with ladders, scaffolding, and chemical products.
• Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to achieve smooth, even finishes.
• Estimate time, materials, and labor for upcoming jobs and communicate with clients or team leads.
• Follow environmental disposal guidelines for paint, solvents, and other materials.
• Operate lifts or extension poles for high-reach areas while maintaining balance and safety.

Preferred:

• Values craftsmanship, consistency, and visual quality in every project.
• Background or interest in construction, property maintenance, or decorative finishes.
• Organized in maintaining clean work areas, labeling materials, and properly storing paint and tools.
• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts while observing proper safety practices.
• Proficient in using brushes, rollers, and spray guns for smooth, even finishes on various surfaces.

You’ll work with a team of painters, safety officers, and project managers to stay on schedule and within specs. You’ll assist with transporting paint, ladders, tape, and drop cloths from site to site using company vehicles or your own. You’ll keep a clean workstation, use premium-grade tools, and maintain full control over your materials. You’ll be expected to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and clean lines. You’ll be expected to follow lockout/tagout procedures and understand MSDS sheets for all materials used. You’ll work indoors or outdoors in all seasons depending on the assignment and surface conditions. Experience in decorative or traditional painting is a plus, but we’ll train creative, careful candidates with a passion for interior beauty.
