Description:

We’re looking for a Nurse who builds trust over time — someone who provides not just care, but presence, consistency, and dignity for patients who need ongoing support. You’ll monitor patient conditions, track vitals, and respond to changes with speed and clinical judgment. You’ll administer medications, assist with procedures, and ensure that care plans are followed with accuracy and empathy. You’ll assess patient needs, respond to changes in condition, and act quickly in urgent situations with clarity and confidence. You’ll coordinate with physicians, surgeons, and specialists to stabilize patients and prepare for transfer or discharge. You’ll prepare patients for tests, provide pre- and post-op support, and make sure they understand what’s happening and why. You’ll assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, helping patients navigate the system with dignity and clarity. You’ll follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, maintaining a clean, organized, and sterile environment. You’ll be part of a team that values communication, shared responsibility, and patient-first thinking.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain detailed charting to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and teams.
• Support patients with activities of daily living when needed, such as bathing, feeding, or mobility assistance.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients from all backgrounds and walks of life.
• Mentor nursing students or junior staff when appropriate, modeling best practices.
• Balance high caseloads while ensuring every patient feels seen and cared for.

Preferred:

• Familiar with operating medical equipment and following standard hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Comfortable performing wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and other routine procedures.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Understands how to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or intensive care units.
• Able to manage physical demands of nursing such as lifting, standing, and extended shifts.
