Description:

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Assistant to support our team in creating and executing effective email campaigns. You’ll be responsible for drafting and editing email copy, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the audience. You’ll assist with designing email templates, ensuring they are visually appealing, responsive, and optimized for all devices. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to ensure that email campaigns align with the overall strategy and business goals. You’ll help optimize email content for mobile devices, ensuring emails are responsive and user-friendly. You’ll track email campaign performance, analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve future campaigns. You’ll help with A/B testing, testing different subject lines, CTAs, and email formats to improve campaign outcomes. You’ll monitor email deliverability, ensuring that emails reach inboxes and do not end up in spam folders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure responses to email replies are timely and helpful.
• Ensure proper formatting, grammar, and link functionality before scheduling any emails—mistakes happen, but not on your watch.
• Monitor deliverability and reputation metrics, helping prevent emails from going to spam or being blocked.
• Assist in writing or editing email flows like welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement, or post-purchase follow-ups.
• Help brainstorm content ideas for newsletters, promotions, or educational emails that add value beyond selling.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using Canva or other tools to design basic banners or visuals for emails.
• Background or interest in marketing, digital communication, e-commerce, or copywriting.
• Open to learning how to build drip campaigns and behavior-based automations.
• Pays close attention to spelling, formatting, and broken links before sending.
• Knows how to write clear subject lines, preview text, and CTAs that drive engagement.

You’ll help coordinate the production and scheduling of regular newsletters, updates, and promotional emails to maintain customer interest. You’ll ensure email content is tailored for different types of audiences, including new customers, loyal followers, and prospects.
