Description:

We’re looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You’ll be responsible for conducting manual tests, identifying bugs, and helping the development team resolve issues quickly. You’ll assist in creating detailed test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of new features and existing functionality. You’ll work closely with the development team to track bugs and verify their resolution, ensuring continuous improvement. You’ll perform manual testing, focusing on functionality, usability, and compatibility, ensuring the software delivers a flawless user experience. You’ll track defects using bug tracking tools, maintaining accurate records of identified issues and their resolutions. You’ll help with automating tests and integrating automated testing processes into the development workflow. You’ll stay current with industry best practices and testing methodologies, continuously improving your skills and approach.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use browser dev tools to inspect elements, console errors, and network requests when troubleshooting issues.
• Review release notes and confirm that all planned features or fixes are accounted for before sign-off.
• Follow test plans and checklists, but also think critically and explore edge cases that automated tools might miss.
• Learn how to test for accessibility, performance, and mobile behavior—QA goes beyond "does it work?"
• Be proactive in learning from senior QA engineers, documentation, or courses—your skillset will grow with every sprint.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in software development, quality assurance, or tech in general.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts such as test cases, bugs, and QA cycles.
• Familiar with basic concepts of version control and environments (e.g., staging vs. production).
• Can write clear, step-by-step bug reports and communicate findings to developers.
• Familiar with manual testing processes for web or mobile applications.
