Description:

We’re hiring a Photographer / Videographer Trainee to assist on fashion, portrait, and lifestyle shoots — no experience required, just a good eye and passion for capturing people beautifully. You’ll assist on real shoots where timing matters: entrances, speeches, reactions, details — the kind of moments that happen once. We’ll teach you how to work quietly, move intentionally, and catch candid shots without disrupting the flow. Expect to hike, move light gear, set up fast, and shoot both raw and cinematic footage in places where conditions change quickly. You’ll help set up gear, frame wide and close angles, manage batteries, card backups, and stay alert in fast-changing situations. You’ll also get experience working with reflectors, softboxes, backdrops, and editing software like Lightroom and Premiere. You’ll learn how to find balance between creativity and client needs — and how to shoot intentionally with editing in mind. You’ll practice following the action, anticipating key moments, and learning how to “feel” the timing without being told. You’ll learn to combine raw footage with overlay shots, visual metaphors, and subtle transitions to create emotion, not just information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Plan and execute photo and video shoots based on client needs, moodboards, or creative briefs.
• Handle the full content lifecycle—from concept to final export and delivery.
• Balance creative vision with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure all equipment is charged, packed, and functioning before every shoot.
• Edit short- and long-form video for social, branded, or documentary-style content.

Preferred:

• Can capture both horizontal and vertical content optimized for multiple platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
• Able to deliver final media in appropriate formats and aspect ratios for social media, web, or print.
• Thrives in field-based, dynamic environments where every shoot brings new challenges.
• Can collaborate with models, clients, stylists, or art directors to bring a vision to life.
• Proficient in framing, composition, lighting, and exposure for various environments.
