We’re looking for a YouTube Shorts Manager who can craft short, impactful videos that capture the attention of millions. If you can spot a viral moment before it peaks and know how to turn a 15-second idea into 1M+ views, we’re talking to you. From ideation to publishing, your job is to turn raw ideas (or raw footage) into high-impact, bite-sized videos that feel native to YouTube’s short-form feed. You’ll need a deep understanding of what works in vertical video, especially within YouTube’s algorithm and audience behavior. Whether you're repurposing long-form content or crafting original Shorts from scratch, your job is to make it addictive, shareable, and on-brand. Whether you’re filming in your own space or collaborating with others, you’ll need to deliver high-quality, polished content on a fast turnaround. Basic Qualifications:

• Push creative limits with bold formats and storytelling that feel native to Shorts, not just mini YouTube videos.
• Balance storytelling and punchiness—every second of a Short matters.
• Test different types of Shorts—educational, funny, visual storytelling, tips, challenges—and learn what sticks.
• Quickly react to real-time events, trends, or memes that can spark viral Shorts opportunities.
• Collaborate with design and motion graphics for dynamic overlays, transitions, or CTA animations.

Preferred:

• Strong understanding of the YouTube Shorts algorithm and best practices for visibility.
• Passionate about digital storytelling and growing audiences through short-form video.
• Has tested Shorts on a personal channel or helped a friend create them.
• Comfortable editing videos for vertical format using tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knows how to craft effective hooks in the first 3 seconds to boost viewer retention.
