We’re welcoming a passionate Elementary School Teacher Trainee who believes every child deserves a warm, supportive, and engaging learning environment. As a trainee, you’ll observe real classroom dynamics, support students in their day-to-day learning, and gradually take on more responsibilities with guidance. From day one, you’ll support young students with hands-on help during lessons, activities, and transitions throughout the school day. You’ll assist with group activities, games, and interactive lessons that make core subjects feel fun and accessible. You’ll help guide classroom behavior using patience, fairness, and consistent expectations. You’ll learn how to create lesson plans, assess student progress, and adjust teaching methods for different learning styles. You’ll gain insight into how children grow socially and emotionally — not just academically — and how teachers nurture that every day. You’ll join in morning meetings, recess duty, and class projects — helping students feel seen, heard, and supported. You’ll participate in creative projects, thematic units, and seasonal events that build community and school spirit.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization daily.
• Incorporate play, hands-on learning, and storytelling to keep lessons fun and age-appropriate.
• Prepare classroom materials, visuals, and activities in advance to keep each day structured and smooth.
• Maintain clear and consistent classroom routines that support focus, creativity, and behavior management.
• Balance instruction, supervision, and care with professionalism and heart.

Preferred:

• Familiar with educational tools such as Google Classroom, Seesaw, SMART Boards, or interactive whiteboards.
• Keeps up with curriculum standards and best practices in elementary education.
• Comfortable using various instructional strategies including group work, hands-on activities, and technology integration.
• Pays close attention to individual learning styles, social-emotional needs, and behavioral patterns.
• Able to manage classroom behavior with consistency, kindness, and positive reinforcement.
