Description:

We’re looking for a highly organized E-commerce Assistant to support our online store’s daily operations and growth. You’ll assist in updating product listings, ensuring all information such as descriptions, images, and pricing is accurate and up-to-date. You’ll assist with processing orders, coordinating shipments, and handling any customer inquiries related to deliveries or product issues. You’ll manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are in stock and properly labeled for customers to purchase. You’ll assist with managing product categories, optimizing product pages for search engines, and maintaining a clean online storefront. You’ll handle customer service inquiries, providing timely and professional responses to resolve any issues or concerns. You’ll help with processing customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive online reputation. You’ll monitor and report on sales data, providing insights to help improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor product inventory, flag low-stock items, and help manage restocking schedules or product discontinuations.
• Use tools like Trello, Notion, or Airtable to manage product update pipelines and task workflows.
• Communicate effectively with remote teams—updating status, asking questions, and reporting blockers clearly.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to support email campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
• Respond to customer inquiries or complaints via email or platform messages, maintaining a helpful and professional tone.

Preferred:

• Enjoys working behind the scenes to keep online stores running smoothly.
• Familiar with managing product listings on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, or Amazon.
• Experience with uploading product images, writing descriptions, and setting prices accurately.
• Wants to grow into roles like E-commerce Manager, Product Coordinator, or Storefront Lead.
• Willing to learn about e-commerce platforms, plugins, and app integrations over time.
