Description:

We’re looking for an Online Community Support professional who understands that great communities don’t just happen — they’re nurtured. In this role, you’ll be the friendly bridge between our brand and our audience, welcoming new members, answering questions, and encouraging conversations that keep our community thriving. You’ll monitor discussions, jump in where needed, and make sure the tone of the space stays respectful, inclusive, and on-brand. This isn’t just moderation — it’s community care. You’ll also monitor for feedback, bugs, or emerging trends and relay those insights to the product and support teams so we can improve quickly and stay connected to our users. This role isn’t just about moderation — it’s about creating meaningful engagement: you’ll start conversations, highlight member wins, encourage contributions, and keep the energy alive even on quiet days.

Basic Qualifications:

• Foster conversations by asking thoughtful questions, sharing updates, and spotlighting community wins.
• Be available for community members across time zones, adjusting schedules when needed for live events or bursts of activity.
• Welcome new members, introduce them to key resources, and help them feel at home from day one.
• Moderate posts and comments when needed, using a tone that’s firm but fair—not robotic.
• Adapt tone and pace depending on the platform—what works in Discord might not fit a public forum.

Preferred:

• Willing to support users across time zones and adapt to an asynchronous environment.
• Comfortable responding to questions, solving minor issues, and redirecting where needed.
• Knows how to escalate technical or sensitive issues to the right internal team.
• Values authenticity, safety, and meaningful connections in every user interaction.
• Open to collaborating with marketing, product, and support teams on community campaigns.

You know how to de-escalate tense situations, give thoughtful replies, and maintain a calm, professional voice — even when things get noisy. You bring consistency, emotional intelligence, and a natural sense of when to step in and when to just let people talk.
