Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide daily support to elderly clients — ideal for someone who values patience, dignity, and helping seniors maintain independence and comfort at home. You’ll assist with personal care routines such as bathing, changing, repositioning, and mouth care with gentleness and dignity. You’ll help manage comfort through medication reminders, touch-based reassurance, and nonverbal communication techniques. You’ll stay alert throughout the night, ready to respond to calls, movement, or signs of discomfort. You’ll perform quiet household tasks like laundry, light cleaning, and preparation for the next day’s routine. You’ll support household tasks like vacuuming, laundry, and tidying to create a peaceful, clean space. You’ll document sleep quality, incidents, or changes in condition that occurred during the shift. You’ll monitor signs of fatigue, overstimulation, or discomfort, adapting the environment or pace as needed. You’ll be trained in fall prevention, nighttime mobility support, and gentle repositioning techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship through conversation, games, walks, or simply being present.
• Respect the dignity, privacy, and independence of clients in all interactions.
• Offer emotional support during times of loneliness, grief, or cognitive decline.
• Be reliable, punctual, and compassionate—someone families can trust and depend on.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using home care documentation tools or apps for shift updates and reporting.
• Understands how to respond to emergencies calmly and notify family members or supervisors promptly.
• Familiar with safe techniques for transferring, repositioning, and using mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs.
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, or 24-hour care rotations.
• Background or passion in healthcare, elder care, disability support, or home assistance.
