Description:
We’re hiring a Truck Driver Trainee — no prior freight experience needed, just a valid license, a responsible attitude, and the desire to build a real career behind the wheel. You may be new to trucking, but if you respect the road, stay alert behind the wheel, and want to learn how logistics really works — we’re ready to train you. We know many people want a fresh start, and that’s why our program is structured to build your skills step-by-step with real mentorship, not just theory. You’ll perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report issues, and keep your rig in road-ready condition. You’ll learn how to secure cargo, fill out proper paperwork, and communicate with dispatch clearly and professionally. You’ll get hands-on experience with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including what to look for, what to log, and when to call it out. You’ll be taught how to drive with long-haul safety in mind — using your mirrors, managing blind spots, and keeping a cool head in traffic, rain, or rough roads. You’ll understand how to work with dispatch, navigate traffic delays, and still keep a cool, respectful tone on the radio. You’ll never be pushed into the driver’s seat too early — you’ll move forward when you’re confident, capable, and ready to do the job safely.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrate safe driving behavior in all conditions—night, rain, snow, urban, or rural.
- Ultimately, deliver goods safely, on time, and with care—because supply chains depend on drivers who take pride in every mile.
- Follow protocols for transporting hazardous materials, perishable goods, or oversized loads when applicable.
- Assist in training new drivers or mentoring junior team members on safe and efficient driving practices.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips—checking brakes, lights, tires, fluid levels, and cargo security in accordance with DOT regulations.
Preferred:
- Understands how to read delivery instructions, manifests, and route sheets accurately.
- Wants to grow into roles like Fleet Supervisor, Driver Trainer, or Owner-Operator.
- Willing to complete company training programs and meet safety benchmarks.
- Able to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Comfortable driving in varying weather, road, and traffic conditions.
Benefits:
- Supportive dispatch team that treats you like a person, not a number.
- Access to roadside support that actually picks up when you call.
- We value independence — no one breathing down your neck via walkie.
- You’ll never have to fight for basic respect — it’s company culture.
- Steady work, year-round — no seasonal ghosting.
You’ll see that long-distance drivers are more than movers — they’re mobile professionals who keep business flowing across the country. You’ll develop the discipline to stay alert, the patience to wait through delays, and the maturity to handle last-minute changes without frustration. You’ll follow rest schedules, avoid burnout, and drive responsibly — because safety matters more than speed. You’ll track your logs, keep your cab clean, and learn the value of being someone dispatch can always rely on — especially on overnight runs. You’ll build pride in doing things right: showing up on time, delivering cleanly, driving safely, and being known as someone who can be counted on. You’ll build confidence, mile by mile, turning your license into a skillset, and your ambition into a real profession. You’ll gain confidence, technical skill, and steady income — with a contract waiting when you’re ready to sign. If you believe a good driver is more than a steering wheel — it’s attitude, consistency, and pride — we’re ready to roll with you.
