Description:

We’re hiring a Cashier who understands that the final impression matters just as much as the first — someone who’s friendly, focused, and ready to make every checkout smooth and positive. You’ll be the first and last interaction many customers have with us, so your role sets the tone and leaves a lasting impression. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced staff and gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows. You’ll keep your workspace clean, your drawer balanced, and your attention sharp from open to close. You’ll help answer quick questions, recommend popular products, and connect customers with team members when needed. You’ll follow proper cash handling procedures, maintain register accuracy, and alert supervisors if issues arise. You’ll be part of a supportive team where asking questions is encouraged and helping each other is part of the daily routine. You’ll help restock small items near the register and make sure the front of the store looks tidy and inviting. You’ll help prepare for opening or closing shifts, counting drawers and making sure your station is ready to go.

Basic Qualifications:

• Resolve pricing errors or minor customer concerns with patience and professionalism.
• Stay alert to potential theft or suspicious activity and follow store protocols.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors if issues or unusual transactions arise.
• Bag items neatly and efficiently while being mindful of product weight and safety.
• Notice when customers need help and offer assistance, even if they don’t ask.

Preferred:

• Organized with receipts, coupons, loyalty programs, and point redemptions.
• Background or interest in retail, hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and working weekends, holidays, or closing hours.
• Able to handle cash, credit/debit transactions, mobile payments, and provide accurate change.
• Follows store procedures for voids, overrides, and ID checks on restricted items.
