We’re on the hunt for a Canva Template Designer who doesn’t just *design* — they *engineer elegance*. You have a natural eye for clean, modern aesthetics, and you understand that even small design choices — like padding, alignment, and font weight — can make a huge difference. Whether you’re building social media kits, digital planners, client proposal templates, or course slide decks, you always keep usability in focus. ” You’ve probably spent hours tweaking font pairings, finessing margins, and crafting layouts that look just as good on mobile as they do on desktop. You understand that great design isn’t about complexity, but about clarity and intentionality. You’re comfortable working with branding guidelines, yet creative enough to stretch them in fresh ways. You keep up with visual trends and know what sells on Etsy, Gumroad, or in digital packs. You have a strong eye for consistency and understand how to build out full collections that feel cohesive across platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

• Update existing templates regularly to keep them fresh, on-trend, and aligned with Canva platform changes.
• Create visually appealing thumbnails and showcase graphics that help sell or present the templates effectively.
• Be organized in your design process—version control, backups, and reuse matter in a fast-paced design workflow.
• Ensure all templates are mobile-friendly and optimized for both free and Pro Canva users.
• Adapt template styles across multiple niches (coaches, teachers, content creators, real estate agents, etc.).

Preferred:

• Understands typography and can pair fonts effectively for different tones.
• Able to export designs in various formats (PDF, PNG, MP4) for client or platform use.
• Comfortable creating templates for marketplaces like Etsy, Creative Market, or Gumroad.
• Understands visual hierarchy, spacing, and color theory for effective layout design.
• Can follow brand guidelines and create visually consistent content packages.
