We’re looking for a YouTube Shorts Manager who’s equal parts strategist, editor, and trend-chaser. If you can spot a viral moment before it peaks and know how to turn a 15-second idea into 1M+ views, we’re talking to you. In this role, you’ll lead the charge on all things Shorts — from planning and scripting to editing and optimizing. You’ll need a deep understanding of what works in vertical video, especially within YouTube’s algorithm and audience behavior. You’ll work closely with our marketing and content teams to ensure our messaging is always sharp, fun, and trend-aligned. You’ll collaborate with our creative team to brainstorm hooks, write concise scripts, and produce content that hits hard — fast. Basic Qualifications:
- Balance storytelling and punchiness—every second of a Short matters.
- Oversee the full pipeline of creating YouTube Shorts—from concept to publishing and performance analysis.
- Analyze audience demographics and adjust style or pacing to match what's resonating.
- Engage with comments and community feedback to inform future content direction.
- Collaborate with design and motion graphics for dynamic overlays, transitions, or CTA animations.
Preferred:
- Knows how to craft effective hooks in the first 3 seconds to boost viewer retention.
- Understands how to repurpose long-form YouTube content into Shorts.
- Experience creating or managing engaging short-form videos specifically for YouTube Shorts.
- Wants to grow as a content strategist and build viral-ready video ideas from scratch.
- Passionate about digital storytelling and growing audiences through short-form video.
