Description:
We’re welcoming aspiring musicians and composers to join us as trainees and learn how to turn raw musical ideas into polished productions. No studio credits needed — just creativity, discipline, and an open mind for feedback and experimentation. You’ll support our audio team by crafting melodies, experimenting with chord progressions, and creating mood-driven soundscapes. You’ll experiment with different instruments, synths, and samples to find your sound and style. You’ll work on adapting musical cues to support tension, joy, surprise, or reflection — all without using words. You’ll sit in on sound reviews, understand client briefs, and adapt music to fit different tones and timings. We’ll guide you in writing musical themes, experimenting with harmonies, and balancing instrumentation. You’ll also get to practice editing, cutting, and mastering audio for clarity and emotional effect. You’ll learn how to compose music that communicates without words — just rhythm, texture, and tone.
Basic Qualifications:
- Keep refining your craft—great musicians never stop learning or listening.
- Edit, mix, and master tracks so they’re production-ready and polished.
- Respect feedback from clients or collaborators, even if it challenges your style.
- Experiment with styles, genres, and tools to keep your sound evolving and fresh.
- Sync music to visuals by hitting emotional beats, pacing, or transitions accurately.
Preferred:
- Can adapt music to different platforms — social media reels, trailers, podcasts, mobile games, or corporate branding.
- Proficient in playing one or more instruments and/or using digital composition tools like Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, or Sibelius.
- Comfortable arranging music for solo, ensemble, or orchestral formats depending on project scope.
- Understands music theory, chord progressions, dynamics, and rhythm across various genres.
- Able to layer sounds, design textures, or experiment with unconventional instruments or samples.
Benefits:
- Bonus for high-performing tracks, syncs, or client rave reviews.
- You’ll build a diverse portfolio — orchestral, lo-fi, cinematic, ambient, quirky, all welcome.
- Get paid to create what others feel but can’t explain — your music tells the story.
- You’ll never be “just background sound” here — your music is the main character.
- No “can you copy this trending TikTok beat” unless *you* want to.
You’ll be encouraged to develop your own musical identity while learning to adapt to different creative briefs. We’ll talk about tempo, transitions, and timing — and how these tiny decisions change the entire experience. You’ll learn how to write music under creative constraints like length, energy, or brand identity. You’ll gain hands-on experience in DAWs and build confidence in your technical and creative decisions. You’ll contribute to real-world projects and see your music live in products or videos used by real audiences. You’ll gradually take ownership of small pieces, then full tracks, and eventually lead your own scoring ideas. By the end of your time here, you’ll have a strong portfolio, better instincts, and a clearer path forward as a creator. If your dream is to create sound that moves people — this is the start of your journey.
