Description:

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress Assistant who thrives on keeping websites clean, fast, and user-friendly. You’ve probably helped launch sites, fix bugs, update content, and troubleshoot the occasional plugin meltdown — all without breaking a sweat. You’re familiar with visual builders like Elementor or Gutenberg, and you know how to use them to build clean, responsive layouts that stay on-brand. You’re familiar with common plugins like Yoast, WPForms, and WooCommerce, and you’re not afraid to dive into settings or troubleshoot plugin conflicts when needed. You know what makes a site easy to use — smooth navigation, optimized images, clear headings — and you make sure everything is polished before it goes live. You’re comfortable following brand guidelines, updating menus, and organizing content so that everything is easy to find and navigate.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support eCommerce setups (WooCommerce) by managing products, inventory, or simple plugin settings.
• Communicate with hosting providers or domain registrars when needed to resolve issues or adjust settings.
• Help configure basic plugins (contact forms, analytics, caching, etc.) and test functionality before go-live.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness across devices and screen sizes by testing and tweaking layouts.
• Support SEO efforts by optimizing on-page elements like alt text, meta descriptions, permalinks, and heading structure.

Preferred:

• Comfortable updating website content, proofreading posts, and ensuring formatting consistency.
• Enjoys working in a remote environment and supporting others with their websites.
• Can handle light design tweaks using themes and theme customizers.
• Follows instructions carefully and documents changes when editing live sites.
• Open to learning advanced tools like ACF, CPT UI, or multilingual plugins.
